Bhutan puts sustainability on the curriculum. Annie Kelly.

Bhutan puts sustainability on the curriculum – in pictures Bhutan's new approach to education incorporates the principles of its index to measure prosperity through Gross National Happiness into the curriculum. Its green schools initiative aims to teach children about environmental conservation and sustainable living, although reaching schools in more remote regions takes more time.
